I have been a resident in Highland Park for over three years, first in an apartment and for the last two years in a townhouse. ... The complex has been blessed with Blake, but I would like to commend the work of Laurence, the newest addition to the maintenance staff. He recently entered my townhouse to re-install a screen to one of the windows in the master bedroom. He discovered something which needed fixed, but wasn't on the list of things to do (second floor hallway closet). He fixed it without being told to do so. My son and I have lived here for two years. The Community Manager, Kee, is excellent, as well as the facility staff. Problems ... get fixed rapidly. We would not be here except for Kee. Staff is so friendly and the facilities are so nice (pool and fitness center). We live in one of the town houses. I would recommend it to any prospective renter. Recently the shower in the apartment above mine leaked water down on my ceiling and into my bedroom. I woke up soaked and ... not knowing what to think. After figuring out that it wasn't me and the water came from my ceiling I called the main office. The response was quick and professional. A gentleman from the maintenance department came by and figured out the issue and stopped any further damage from happening by repairing floor in the shower above mine. After the ceiling dried another maintenance man (Louis) came and fixed my ceiling. Everyone I dealt with in the office and from the maintenance department were very respectful and professional. The rooms are spacious & the maintenance staff keeps everything up & running. The staff keeps the lines of communication open with the residents, which I really appreciate. The yards are kept of beautifully, they keep a nice, large pool clean (as well as a baby pool), an exercise room available to the residents, a large dog park for open run for happy dogs...
